ACWORTH, GA. / ACCESSWIRE / October 1, 2024 / There's a new name for luxury senior living in Cobb County: Arbor Terrace Acworth. The assisted living and memory care community has joined the list of locations managed by The Arbor Company.
Formerly known as Dogwood Forest, the renamed community is located at 4461 S. Main St., Acworth, Georgia, 30101, which is at the intersection of South Main Street and Cowan Road in downtown Acworth.
With more than 35 years of experience in senior care, Atlanta-based The Arbor Company took over management of the community on October 1, 2024. Arbor Terrace Acworth will continue to offer assisted living and memory care.
"This community has built a strong foundation for supporting seniors in Acworth," said Judd Harper, president of The Arbor Company. "We're excited to be able to build upon the community's great reputation of serving seniors and their families."
In January, Arbor Terrace Acworth will begin to offer Bridges, a memory care program unique to The Arbor Company that provides a supportive environment designed especially for seniors in the early stages of Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. In addition to Bridges, Arbor Terrace Acworth will immediately offer award-winning senior care programming from The Arbor Company in the areas of dining, fitness, engagement and technology.
Arbor Terrace Acworth joins 11 Georgia communities already managed by The Arbor Company. Recognized as a Great Place to Work, The Arbor Company fosters a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous learning. The company has retained the staff who already work in the community, and provides them with comprehensive benefits that include tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment assistance, and competitive salaries.
Residents at Arbor Terrace will be able to enjoy amenities designed to enhance their quality of life. Spacious apartments and comfortable common areas feature natural lighting and modern finishes. Outdoor walking paths and landscaped gardens offer residents opportunities for fresh air and exercise. The water feature in the courtyard provides a peaceful spot for relaxation.
